| Hello Everybody!
I didn't understand why every Indian thinks that Pakistanis are very bad guys.
At the political level, things are different.
But at the ground (common people) level, they are just like any other Indian. First of all, do you have a Pakistani friend? If you say No, then you cannot comment on them.
In USA, within a short period of time, I met a good number of Pakistanis - at various levels. The man who thought me driving is a Pakistani - a very nice guy. He says all this nonsence and tensions are just becuase of the politicians. He has a lot of Indian friends.
And during my previous assignment, I met a Pakistani team along with several Bangladeshis. They are all just like any Indians.
When people in both the counties start understanding each other better, then the political situation will definitely change.
All of you guys should remember that the Country divided at the time Independence just for political reasons with Britain played a major role in it.
We all know that whenever there are internal troubles or tensions in either of our countries, then the politicians bring the Kashmir issue up to the Headlines - to divert everybody's mind.

But from where it will come?

Ms Prashanthi,
Thats a good idea.If you dont start something for the fear of failure you will end up doing nothing.Do not think about the fruitfulness of your efforts.You are trying to do something good and sensible.Go ahead and do it. Good luck.
You are not going to lose anything even if your idea doesn't work out.

you are right Ram - the situation between the two countries is not as simplistic as two kids fighting for candy. Also, Pakistanis are driven by a relegious zealousness which is beyond reason and comprehension. Moreover, it has crossed the point of no return and there is much more at stake for both countries than just Kashmir now.

prashanti garu this is nice idea for us to make a discussion forum for India and pakistan, but one thing you have to understand that this pakistani's will never change their mind they only think that they are fighting towards islam and they will tell that we are fighting for holy war that is zihand , never mind you want to make a discussion forum and build a harmonious relation between our neighbour country pakistan,but i hope this wont solve the issue of india and pakistan they wont change. They think they are fighting towards islam not an a country. Best of luck for ur discussion forum.
