Do not you think that a 'celebrity' should be more careful in his behaviour? ('yadyadaacharati SrEshTha@h tattaddEva itarO jana@h) I came to this conclusion not because of one stray incident. There have been more allegations on him, apart from the present incident. No doubt, the law will take its own course. What is at fault is not the 'weakness of passion'. (There are a lot of people, celebrities included, who have the weakness for the other sex.) It is more than that. It is betrayal of the faith (out of respect for his capability) reposed in him.
Neither we are 'overzealous' nor are we 'overjealous'.

Naga Phani Sharma is a talented Avadhani and I admire his talent, irrespective of his is personal life. When it comes to his personal life, (good, bad or ugly) we shouldn’t be overzealous because if he has done anything wrong law would take its course. Except the aggrieved party, nobody has got locus standi to criticize – amounting to character assassination. One should not get carried away by rage and emotion after ‘sensing’ something ‘spicy’. One should not be judgmental on others’ character, because no one is sure about one’s own character. Whenever a controversy engulfs any celebrity people start moral policing and start asking for his/her blood. Is it a reflection of our ‘latent’ jealousy?
At least in TP, I expect people to be more enlightened. I request TP editorial team to exercise some ‘censor’ against the character assassination campaign against Naga Phani Sharma (for that matter any celebrity).
Please don’t brand me as a conservative male chauvinist; I am just trying to be objective – nothing less, nothing more.
