| thats so true...i wonder if the telugu language is also culminating in midst of this...well if u get time u can also see some telugu channels and their anchors who ought be from andhra who make telugu sound worst...its hilarious.. mana telugu ila padaipothundhi

@ Satya Rama Prasad Garu, i agree with you completely. Incidentally, i hadn't listened to the Tagore song before - but did that after reading your comments. I don't know what prompted the singer to pronounce it as 'madanaarczana'.
@ Rahul garu, i used to like the song 'Aaakaasam..' from the movie 'Kalusukovaalani..' (when i heard it in promos) though it reminded me of Ilayaraja's 'Chamkichakka..' from Kokila. I was immediately put off after hearing 'boolokam' instead of 'bhoolokam' in the pallavi. And i don't think Sumangali the singer is a non-telugu. Pity!

I TOTALLY AGREE WITH U.MOST OF THE TELUGU SPEAKING PEOPLE ARE ALSO PRONOUNCING INCORRECTLY WHICH IS EVEN WORSE.AND THE BEST EXAMPLE I CAN GIVE IS OUR ANCHORS IN TELEVISION CHANNELS THEY (MOST OF THEM)SPEAK HORRIBLE TELUGU.I AM ONE OF MANY WHO WANTS TO LISTEN PROPER TELUGU SONGS LIKE YOU MATE.THANK YOU VERY MUCH..

It is nothing but scant regard for pronunciation - a sort of arrogance on the part of all concerned.
What about the word 'madanaarchana' pronounced by that singer in the recent 'Tagore'(Song - 'vaanochchenaMTE')?
The writer of the song has to sit with the singer at the time of singing to avoid mistakes in pronunciation. Perhaps that is the only solution.
