Articles: My Thoughts | If You Are An Indian You Must See This! | |
| Iam happy for the concern u have on india. and iam much more pleased after looking at the way how fast our people reacted for it!u surely made a point which made people pause a moment n look back! well, why not u be a lil positive n optimistic?think around the other way!
like, indian industrial sector has not flurished with latest equipments on day!we dont have the required funds n no funding organisations for our univ's n industries and so is the unemployment problem for highly skilled professionals.
now...after 2 or 3 decades of abroad earnings, people r coming back n investing their big money!..most of our banking sectors have got their share value increased!funds have started flowing to india!lot of foreign exchange!
had all these people been in india, .... u think all this would have happened? some way or the other, though virtually they r making something good for the nation isnt it(raising our economy)!
apart from this, think of the curruption which is prevailing in all the sectors in india!dont u think it matters the development of our nation?
"I personally feel that u need to think atleast twice b4 raising such questions!"
If there was no patriotism or any love for our nation, neither u nor me would have worried abt all this or comment this way by logging into telugupeople.com and spending 15 mins time!!!!!!and never u would have heard someone celebrating independence day!
as u said.....lacs of people cannot do anything and will keep their fingers crossed till the governing system gets changed .
indians abroad r always willing to contribute n not to distribute their properties!cuz lacs of people r in abroad...but thousands or say hundreds r rich n rest r in APL (ABOVE POVERTY LINE)AND THOSE FEW RICH CANT REALLY DO ANYTHING FOR CRORES OF PEOPLE IN INDIA OR CHANGE THEIR LIVES OR CHANGE THE NATION N ITS SITUATIONS !

i agreee with u that there is a huge loss to india as many people are leaving india.this is not the problem of india alone there are many other countries who are going to other countries.I feel that going abroad is not a loss if people return after sometime to india. There are many indians (NRI'S)who are investing a lot of money in india.
people from other countries like japan and china go to US but they return to their country after some time and invest there in their buisness there by develop thir country.
this too should happen for india then only india will see development.
any way i appriciate u r concern for our mother land.
Posted by: Mr. Amzadkhan Mohammed At: 28, Oct 2002 2:17:37 AM IST Hi Balaji,
Thats ture. But see the positive side of the example you quoted"suppose if your house keeper is taking salary from you and serving your nextdoor. can you bare this? ".
Here first of all you need to analyse this case as" That the house keeper is not serving your next door just because you paid her". She is earning there for her life to lead.let us hope that she will come back to you and explore the idea of "Vacume Cleaner"
Whishing all the best for us,
Prasna.
Posted by: Ms. Prasna Prasna At: 25, Oct 2002 7:31:47 AM IST i applaud u for having concern for our mother land.u have given an example to justify ur views.i use the same example to justify my view .u qouted"suppose if your house keeper is taking salary from you and serving your nextdoor. can you bare this? ".
if suppose the same house keeper gets fifty times the salary u give in the next door for the same work Will she work in ur house?.she will either demand the amount in ur house or she will quit and works next door.u give the amount she asks if possible to make her work in ur house or u lose her. There r lot of other reasons which have led to this stage.
i think u understand this.sorry if any one gets hurt.this is just a comment.

Posted by: Mr. Harish Chandra Rodda At: 10, Oct 2002 5:37:39 PM IST It is good that you have a great national feeling. People like you still contribute for the good in a country where prime minister would get money in the defence deals. His wife wants to be the prime minister now, can you stop it. You can not.
The world is moving man, the country can become great only when the people living init want to contribute to the common couse. The whole problem is, no body wants to contribute to common service or system but every body wants to get maximum share from the common system.
Our up bringing in the child has to contribute more towards sincerity and make sure the boy understands that he has to work to make money and no short cuts are possible.
You have a point, many people who have been trained in Indian Universities have migrated to US. May be we need to make them pay for what they gained from the Indian system. Nothing is free in US or Western System. Every thing is business and has to survive itself.
It is also true they have settled in US, but I am also sure, the existing infrastructure cannot provide the professional job what they are able to get in US.
The biggest pillar in the US or Western Countries is the strict law system. You can never get away once the cop sees you speeding (forget running from an accident) on the high way. Try to bribe him, you are booked for one more case.
Call 911 the Police are there in less than 5 minutes with Guns drawn out. They have the power to shoot to save some body and they do not hesitate to do that. Where are the theives? Must have been shot down by former police!
There are so many things to understand for you.
You brought out real good points.
Thanks for your time.
Posted by: Mr Ramakrishna Rao Potluri At: 9, Oct 2002 4:51:13 AM IST CORRECTION!
PLEASE MAKE IT 1RUPEE IS EQUAL TO 50 DOLLORS IN 3RD PARA.
thank you.
Balaji.
Posted by: Mr. balaji kati At: 22, Sep 2002 3:00:26 AM IST hello everybody.
I have gone through all your coments and found that so many of you have misunderstood me in one aspect. i.e i asked NRIs to contribute for technical development of india and i never mentioned about the economical help. Added to that i didn't say that they are not helping inida economically. But so many of you mentioned about the economical help given by NRIs during kargil and etc. I don't why all have gone in that direction.
And one point you have gone wrong is that i particulary stated about the students of IITs and IIMs. who told that there are no jobs for them in india? Do you know that most of the IIT students are getting good placements before they complete their B.tech degree. But still they are flying abroad. And the students who are not getting any jobs after completing thier degree (who has studied in private colleges and other colleges) are still remained in india as unemployed youth. what do u say for this?
Mr.Harikrishna stated that the students are going abroad just for cutting edge technology. so here is my question. please answer me. JUST IMAGINE THAT THE VALUE OF 1$ IS EQUAL TO 50 RUPEES.(just reverse case) AND THAT REMAINING ALL ARE SAME AS PRESENT. THAT MEANS THE U.S IS FAR DEVELOPED THAN INDIA AND IS PROVIDING THE STUDENTS A FANTASTIC TECHNOLOGY. EVEN IF THIS IS THE CASE TELL ME FRANKLY HOW MANY OF YOU ARE READY TO GO TO U.S. IF YOU ARE STILL INTERESTED TO GO TO U.S THEN I WILL REALLY APPRECIATE YOU AND I WILL AGREE THAT MY VIEWS ARE TOTALLY WRONG.
And some of you have mentioned that people are going to abroad since india was totally corrupted. Do you mean that this is the SOLUTION TO ELIMINATE THE CORRUTPTION? if this is the case please tell me so that i too will fly to abroad and also help others to go abroad.
AND THE SADDEST PART OF OUR COUNTRY IS THAT EVERY BODY IS POINTING THAT INIDA IS FULLY CORRUPTED CORRUTPTED CORRUPTED. IS THERE ANYBODY WHO SAY THAT SHALL WE TRY TO ELIMINATE THE CORRUPTION. NO BECAUSE right from our childhood we are habited of pointing the negative aspects and we will never try to pick up the positive things in our life and so we are continuing like that. its not our mistake.
its the mistake of our grand grand.....parents who are resposible for making our thoughts like this. So lets continue this for ever...............
