You left out the commercial media's role in it. The Cinema industry is the worst offender of Indian culture and values.
The mis-use of technology too. I recently went into a 'cyber cafe' to check e_mail. The first thing I see is a nude photo of Aishwarya Roy.
Pornography may reduce, rapes, but it removes any respect for women. In Indian culture, especially Hindu culture, woman has a very respectable role.
I don't have much respect for any one religion. Some of India's major problems are religion based such as Hindu /Muslim conflicts, the caste system, etc. But, India has a unique culture, much influenced by the diverse religions. It gives a value system for these multitudes to live in harmony. Destroying it in the name of equality (a utopian ideal of the deranged commies) leaves Indians without having any values to hang on to.
That is more risky than the invasion of the terrorists.

What ever your saying is true and it's happening like 'Chapakinda neerula' (spreading water under mat).
Already as Britishers and others rules and attacked our country, spoiled and theft many things we lose alot related to our heritage and culture. And many truths were burried.
Present government is planning alot to sell our country and spoil heritage and culture their level best.
If Indians wakeup again only we will remain as Indians else we will become again worst than British India.
I request all my Indian Hindu,Muslim, Christan, Sikh and others 'pls don't fall in to work work work, at least think what is going on and be in attention' for better life for you and your kids.
I am not supporting any party except Indian nation and Indian along with the peace and prosperity accross the world.
Self respect is great respect.

Really its good and meaningful. Due to dirty politics of present Congress and Communist leaders these things happening in India. But I dont know why indian people voting to these worst political parties (Congress and Communists). In Kerala and West bengal, these parties fighting each other, where as in Central government uniting each other. What is the meaning of elections in Kerala and West bengal. We have to hate these two political parties.
