Mr. Uppala garu: Hats off to you for your courage. Most people would be afraid of saying these words for the fear of Naxals retribution. Gaddar has commendable qualities. He is serving the interests of Telangana recently (may be he had a change of heart). But his history has been one of 'Mouth piece for Naxals'. He and his ilk create class struggle and strife in the society. The problem with communits of India, praja leadership like Gaddar, Union leaders and politicians, Caste sanghalu etc, is that they protect dead wood and unproductive people and selfish causes at the expense of society in general. They are frogs in the well and exztract a large cost on the public. I agree with your assessment of Gaddar so far. But he has a chance to redeem himself in the struggle for Telangana State and move away from being Naxal's mouth piece and realize his folly. Whatever anybody says, Naxals for the past 30 plus years have hindered Telangana development. Their demise will freee people to pursue their own welfare without being hindered by few with guns.

Posted by: spArrow At: 3, Feb 2007 9:36:03 AM IST So, You don't have answer to my question? Don't all get touchy sire, It all started from #pranteeya bhEdaalu...# and I am just trying relate these two movements and was wondering why wasn't amarajeevi's movement wasn't branded as separatist movement and whatever happened to 'jai India' stuff back then. But, Irrelevancy seems to be your last resort. If you aren't interested, don't care to know, you can either shush up poking about telangaaNa or continue with your lame commentary. Your chocie! My intellectual appetite is still active and high, I am off to better platforms. Hope telangaaNa gets some strength from amarajeevi's sacrifice. Shalom!

Posted by: spArrow At: 2, Feb 2007 2:06:21 PM IST Sorry, I didn't get that 'Obvious' part. Lets leave the adjectives aside, what are 'allegations' put forward by amarajeevi? and How they are different from, the ones that are driving separate statehood movement right now? May be wee need to look into that direction. More on your rest of comments, when I get some more free time. Shalom!

Posted by: Mr. madhusudhanreddy kakulavaram At: 2, Feb 2007 7:09:04 AM IST Sir, I do not think gaddar can ever be like prachanDa. In my opinion that will be intellectual disaster to telangaaNa. He can attract greater masses and sing to them in their own language. TelangaNa intellectual circle should utilize him or work with him in adequate ways to educate people and spread their cause, through his songs. As frequently pointed out in this article, he is a good mouth piece and can be one for telaNgaNa cause. my two nayaa paisalu, off from here :-)

I just want to take tangent over here, It would have been better, if author defines these terms 'prajaa gaayakuDu', 'prajaa kavi' etc. These terms are frquently associated with many literary-political figures in telugu land. And these were coined so frquently that, it confuses and leaves a reader almost clueless. Is gaddar a kavi? I think so. Is kaLOji a kavi? I am not sure. And the term 'praja kavi' has been debated over n over again. Was SriSri a 'prajaa kavi'? Debatable! Posted by: spArrow At: 2, Feb 2007 12:24:34 PM IST #sankuchita pranteeya bhEdaalu recchagOTTi..# is it about separate statehood? then, Can it be directed towards 'amarajeevi' too?
