Can you come on to the Sun planet? Then I will show you God. As long as we don't overcome birth, death, old age and decease we (at least I) can't believe that there is no God.
Consciousness is nothing but establishing the eternal relationship between the Soul and the Supersoul. In an unalloyed devotional service that facility is available. If you don't do it how can you see God? It's impossible. Without a proper approach you can't even make your immediate boss happy or you can't even get an opportunity to see the head of your country directly. How can you see God? Without a suitable vehicle you can't enter into moon or some other planet. If you believe that you are the Soul then you have the facility or means to elevate to the Spiritual planet. If you don't believe in Soul then there is no apprehension! You may enjoy as you like. If you are a humanist that will be wonderful! At least, there will be a better order in the society. Most likely humanists too targeted by demons in the form of greed and hunger for domination. When all the 'isms' fail then you may revisit the Soul theory.
