Dear sir,
Absolutely I agree with you that every species has a role to play in the creation. According to evolution process too human being is at the critical stage. What would you think will be the next stage after this critical stage?
I also agree that human being is the central part of everything. Vedic scriptures too reveal the same thing that having birth as a human being is a great opportunity. You may say this happened by chance or due to natural selection process. That’s fine. Supersoul or God comes to human beings when they have outstanding or serious questions about their existence in this world. If such questions don't arise then I am definitely hurting the other person with my character. By illusion, I appear to be mad to other person. But chemicals in my brain are not overactive.
My intention is not to attend your spirit for writing. I wish you will write more and more but anything against Soul and God will catch me :)! I have a strong belief in Soul and God (not specific to a particular religion). Yes, I am MAD to find God and the mystery of this universe.

Many people do not realize their anthropo-centric perspective while talking of 'feelings and experiences' and the cosmos. Bacteria, for example have no nervous system worth the name but they are no less important (if not more!) as a life-form. We are slow to understand that bacteria came into being long before us and will survive us for a long time to come. Larger animals like us are able to live only because bacteria 'allow' us to do so!
If one ponders over the concept of time (among various other things), our thoughts and their role in our own consciousness (a product of biological evolution) that no doubt plays a very important but subjective role, it becomes clear that our perspective (however much it appeals to us) is highly limited. A tingle along the spine for example, can launch us into a 'supernatural' mode.

Dr. Prasadji,
Thought my comments are within the limits of your article. Yes, agreed that I brought several issues in the condensed form. You seem to a scientist by yourselves. I admire! You must be aware that most of the things happening in the scientific world seem to be out of exploitation, stealing and often exaggerated. For example life is made of Carbon, Hydrogen, Oxygen and some more elements. In the laboratory some scientists could create amino acids but the experiment stops there. Exaggerating this, Frankenstein’s were made! Moreover it is hard for the fake scientist to have a feel (despite stolen fame) who had stolen research from the real worker. A thief has no feel for the knowledge and the hard work. Newton is the leading thief among scientific thieves. In the laboratory so far no body had created DNA out of pure chemicals. Though I am not an pessimist it is true that the greatest difficulty in cloning is to set the genetic clock.
On the other side of the story even some simple problems are not clearly understood. For example simple boiling nucleation, less is known, every year 1000's of scientific papers are published. Science is nothing but trying to understand the existing order and micro-order. This would lead to some manipulations and corrections of some disorders towards order.
Recently someone came to a number that there are 600 crores of stars/planets in this milky way. I am not saying that there are 600+1 crore stars! All that I say is something more than 600 we don't know. We are ignorant and tend to err. We humans are with imperfections. We have four defects (1) We commit mistakes (2) Illusion (3) Cheating propensity and, (4) Our senses are imperfect, We are proud of our eyes. Often someone will challenge, 'Can you show me the God?' Do they have the eyes to see God? They can't see if they have't the eyes. If the room immediately gets dark we can't even see our hands. So what power do we have to see God?
Twin paradox :
It's clearly impossible.
please see the link
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Twin_paradox
Need not be last, I am not against Science and its growth to serve the humanity. But we can't deny the vast and deepness of the consciousness beyond the matter and logic. I neither like to be lazy and preach cheating hypocrites in the name of God. Somewhere we look through, we can have access through what is beyond life and death! We are not this physical body but Soul. It has a permanent address but right now in USA gone after comfort! This guy Soul belongs to Spiritual world but trapped in the comforts!
It's not even 100 years scientists are already talking about the destruction on this globe due to global warming as a result of the excessive use of fissile fuels and also due to over population. I am scared to think about future after 100 years. I hope I am this body but Soul is trash as some physicists think!
No doubt that you have very impressive credentials as a writer. In fact you are service thought is great! Since you have a flair for writing you have an advantage of influencing the thoughts of several readers. I come across several atheists. Their concern seems to be about second ranked theists. We may call those second rated guys as hypocrites.
Thanks and regards,

Posted by: Dr. Rohiniprasad Kodavatiganti At: 7, Mar 2007 7:14:28 AM IST Mr. Babu,
Thanks for your concern about my confusion. Actually I had not intended to write about life and death in these columns. I started a series on civilization which I intend to continue.
I have been writing a weekly column for apweekly.com for about 3 years and several other articles on evolution and faith in prajakala.org, Prajasahiti and Arunatara monthlies. I also write on music for eemaata.com.
You can google Debiprasad Chattopadhyaya the well-known author of Lokayata if you want.
What I write is not coffee-house gossip nor is it a matter of my opinion. I am not a preacher but only convey the interesting facts that I happen to come across.
As for god and beliefs I have collected lots of information which have given me a very clear idea of things. If I appeared 'confused' to you, it must be the fault of my writing style.
Posted by: Dr. Rohiniprasad Kodavatiganti At: 7, Mar 2007 0:33:25 AM IST Dear sir,
Scientific part of the article is good! I congratulate you! However your concepts on God and beliefs are obscure to me. We ought to isolate them. Looks like they are fundamentally incorrect and you are in a confused state! No offensive please! BTW, Who is this pandit Deviprasad Chatopadhaya? There are millions of pundits with their own versions on God. What is the basis for truth? Who has the capacity to judge, what they are saying is right?
Thanks,
Babu
