All your ideologies are excellent. I fully support you. Only thing is means of achievement. Why do all of you thing reservations alone would empower Dalits to achieve all the equalities?
If empowerment of Dalits is the cause, give them all the means which makes them equal with others. First and foremost abolish mentioning of cast in any form and every form. Support all those poor and needy in all means like better education, free food, living amenities irrespective of cast. It would solve all the issues.
With just reservations, the problems would only increase as you are dividing people instead of unification. Today in Hyderabad like metros how many people know the cast of their neighbour and how many people would bother about.
If you are talking about number of politicians and ministers are the representation of social justice then there are still poor casts like vysyas and brahmins with almost NIL representation. Why don't your represent them as minorities too?

Dear Telugu Dalit Bahujans of Andhra Pradesh,
Greetings to All! On behalf of Telugu Dalit Bahujan NRIs we support on going BSP public meetings which are being held in KARNOOL (on April 14th) and GUNTUR Districts of Andhra Pradesh, India. We request all Dalits, Bahujans, Christian & Muslim Minorities and like minded people to attend these meetings in large numbers, show your support and make them success. We are all confident that electoral success of Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) in North India will be repeated in South India in 2009 election year. Winds are blowing in favor of BSP.
We got the freedom 60 year of ago, but we are still in 'Political Slavery', we are majority in number but we are ruled by Minority few for generations. It is unfortunate that even after 60 years of independence, and reservation system, there is only a little change in the political power structure in Andhra Pradesh. Only a couple of minority upper castes have been overwhelmingly dominating the political scene of AP all these years.
The systematic discrimination in all mainstream of economic and political activities have not allowed the due share deserved by Dalit Bahujans and continued to be marginalized. Apathy in our country is comparable with infamous Slavery in Western Countries. Upper caste domination should come to end now. Let us rise up and fight for Balance of Power; this is an extension of Freedom Struggle. More than 50% of the Dalits are living under below poverty line. Backward caste communities, especially the most backward caste communities’ status is no different from Dalits.
And we Dalit Bahujan NRIs feel “strongly” that unity of the SCs/STs/BCs and minorities is the only way to seize the political power and self rule by majority people is the only solution for upliftment of the marginalized Dalit Bahujans. BSP is founded by Manya Shree Kanshiram on these principles and we need to unite under the BSP umbrella and achieve political power in the state and center.
We need alternative force to so called “Major Political Parties” in Andhra Pradhesh. Give one opportunity for BSP, they will show why major political parties have failed to move the state forward in Industry, Economy etc. We are a democratic nation, according our constitution, majority should rule, but we are not respecting it. With time, Rich and Poor gap is increasing. It is time for the change.
BSP is the party of Future and Dreams and it makes underprivileged people “Smile at Future”. BSP promotes the rights of low-caste Hindus, Dalits, Bahujans, Minorities, and other marginalized and downtrodden sections of the Indian Society. BSP is making lot of progress in uniting Bahujans, Dalits, and Christian and Muslim minorities. And it is the time for change in AP.
It has performed impressively in the past elections and it is expected to sweep elections in North India. Its political star is Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Mayawati. BSP has governed the northern Indian state of Uttar Pradesh, with the support of other parties for twice. Apart from Uttar Pradesh, the party has a considerable presence in Punjab as well as the central Indian state of Madhya Pradesh and it is continuously gaining ground in Delhi.
We believe, our country will grow by leaps and bounds if change comes in thinking and perception. We are seeing lot of growth because of Globalization and Trade, it would be wonderful if we could leverage this trend to change our social and political system to bring 'Balance of Power' and provide representation to people from all sections: SC, BC, ST and Muslim and Christian Minorities.
We are all at an important stage looking to collaborate with courageous and committed leaders to bring Dalit Bahujans under the one umbrella to fight for the common cause. We all want to work at the gross-root levels to educate and empower people from these communities. As we all know, statistically we have the advantage but power wise we are totally marginalized. We have the reservation system but we can not contest or get tickets for open slots, it is working opposite as Reservation is to promote but not to restrict.
Goals of this team of people are:
1. Power Balance: Representation for all (Majority Rule)
2. Social Justice: Equity for all in all walks of nation building
3. Opportunities for all: Improved Quality of Life
4. Women Empowerment: Equal Opportunities
5. Anti-Corruption: Abolish “Institutionalized Corruption”
6. Offer Education and Employable Skills: Affirmative Action
7. Health Care to all needy/poor: Revive Primary Care Health Care System
8. Upliftment of Downtrodden
9. Rural Development: Renew and Revitalize
10. Create Umbrella Organization for Dalit Rights and Protection
'We are looking forward to work with BSP and like minded groups and individuals to extend our efforts on improving Education, Culture, Skills, Economic Development, Social Justice, and then 'Lifting our community up as We Climb High Places'.
We stand behind BSP agenda of bringing power to powerless. We are sure that in AP also it is going to become a powerful force. We Telugu Bahujan NRIs whole heartedly support to make this event a big success. Let us join hands to “BUILD OUR FUTURE, TOGETHER WE CAN ACHIEVE IT”.
Please contact local BSP party office for more information. BSP is emerging as a force in North India.
Yours Sincerely,
Friends of BSP
Telugu Dalit Bahujan NRIs (North America & EUROPE)
