| Is it a strategy to say 'Andhra Brahmins' everytime? ---- so that if some Andhra brahmin reacts to that you can create a caste war between Brahmins and Reddys?
Thats a very old technique in chatrooms - I know you can not do anything constructive, try to be creative atleast ont he destructive front :))

Dear Dr. Peyyeti,
In Telangana, we use the word 'da.va.kha.na' for hospital. 'Aspathri' is a Sanskrit word. Both Davakhana and Aspathri are not Telugu words. But Andhra Brahmins says Aspathri is respectable because it is a Sanskrit word. I never said not to borrow words from other langages when we don't have our own word. Certainly lot of scientific and technolgy words introduced by English like Computer, TV, and it is good to use them as it is. What I am objecting is not to create a sanskrit word for these new technical words and write it in Telugu script and call it a Telugu word. I spelled out more clearly in my article Telugeekarana - theta telugu how to bring the usage of Theta Telugu words into the forfront. There are many beautiful telugu words in rural telangana, Rayalaseema and Coastal Andhra. Once you said it is a good idea to collect these words and bring them back into usage. We are Telugu people and we should promote Telugu language not Sanskrit. I am not against an individual learning any other langauge as long as it their personal choice.

Not that he would agree with you if you speak his langauge - he just runs away and posts the same thing on the other threads, expecting that some new crowd would see the crap he posts, but alas, all in vain :))
