First Sorry for replying in telugu. My system does not telugu fonts and I do not have them.
Coming to your article Telugu vadi ku(nna) Samskaaram, Franky speaking your thoughts and writing are in astray madam. In your article you wrote about bride killing by Telugu people and some where about their arambha surathavam, but ultimately what I under stood from reading is it about Telugu people knowledge on literature and their eager to write comments without understanding the theme and their lack of 'parijgnam' on our telugu literature.
Coming to your toughts Would you please kindly tell me in todays world of Internet, how many people go to Library.
I come from guntur, when I was a student, I used to go to both Regional Library and district library, where book were from different range, Novels from Adavi Bapiraju, madurantakam, munipalle vari kathalu,Bhanumathi gari books.
But tell me how many people have read them. And I tell you one thing, Our great poet Sri Vishwanatha Satyanarana epic novel 'Veyi Padagalu' is not available in any book shop. After a great search we found the book in a small book shop.Its really surprising that Bhanumathi gari 'Sahitya Academy winner book 'Atthagari Kathalu' and her other book Attha gari vantakalu' are not available in any book shop'. And we have been making rounds and rounds. They are not available in Vishalandra also. When ever we go whether it is our bad luck or so, the book is sold are there is no stock. Navodaya and Vishalandra have stopped printing are stocking some good books due to lack of buyers.
Same is the fate of many great good books. Amaravathi Kathaly was out of print for two years. This particular book I gave as gift to my relatives and they lost it to others. And after a great search i found the book in an exhibition and to tell the truth I grabbed the back immediately.
I suggest you that through your literature friends and from cooperation from readers we can arrange an exhibition exclusively for the old great books written by our poets and novelities. we can enthuse a breathe to our telugu language and revive the literature.
