I am sorry friends, I didn't read all the messages of madhusudhanreddy kakulavaram. Madhusudhanreddy garu, why are you hating Sanskrit and telling so many theories about it? You are telling things as if you saw all these things with your own eyes. Please stop. Don't talk bad about Sanskrit - for the sake of Telugu. Talk only about Telugu - and do whatever you can to promote Telugu. No need to hate other languages to love your own.

Another thing: we need to think based on the issue, not based on the person, party or religion. In this article, I completely agree with the Author Prof. Reddy. His only concern is students are taking Sanskrit as the cost of their mother tongue. His point is if the students are good at Telugu, then, they can study Sanskrit. What is wrong in that argument. I completely support Mr. Madhusudhanreddy Kakulavaram in this case. It is shame on Malakpet Rowdy who is personally attacking Mr. Madhusudhanreddy everywhere (irrespective of the issue). Sanskrit may be great - but Telugu is greater than Sanskrit for me. To love your own language, you don't need to hate others.

There are less than 100 active users in TP Discussion Boards - but I never see everybody agreeing to one point on any issue. Everybody tries to support their own point and do not come down even a single step. If we cannot support our co-browsers here in TP (we are in the site for a long time and we are like colleagues), how can we expect somebody else will do something else? I am sure, when all the TP DB Users agree on one single point on any issue - then they can together force the Government and get the policies changed. Earlier people used to respect others, even if they do not completely understand or agree with them. Do you think all the Gandhiji's supporters understood and agreed with him really? Governments and Leaders know this trend very well, and so, they are doing whatever they want.

Vekat, Did you read the article? The author Chandrasekarreddy garu worried about Telugu students taking Sanskrit in Inter to score high marks and ignoring Telugu. Are you interested to promote our mother tounge Telugu or not? How can you say Sanskrit is not hurting Telugu? Asking to study mother tounge Telugu will create Language hatred? You must be kidding! Sanskrit is the language of Science is another joke. Your love for sanskrit should not blind you to rub the noses of 100 Million Telugus.

Ms Jogi Bogg, Sanskrit is not the mother of all languages. Sanskrit is not native to India, and it belongs to Indo-European language family and is much closer to German, Latin, Arabic and Parsi. Telugu belong to Dravidian language family and it is derived from Proto-dtravidian language spoken in Indus valley civilization 5000 years ago. Please read Mr. Badriraju Krishnamoorthy books on Dravidian languages.

Murali, In December 2006, I visited tp.com office in Hyderbad and advised them how to make a software change to increase the size of telugu unicode font. Right now it is too small to read. I never claimed I am an expert on Telugu but requested every one to develop a discpline to use 70 percent theta telugu words. Asking people not to use Sanskrit in Telugu temples, in telugu newspaper is not against sanskrit. Over 100 Million Telugu speaking people can't use their own mothe tounge in temples, schools an newspapers? Think about it. I am glad atleast we have agreed to limit langage score in selecting Medical/Engeneering admissions.
