this poem clearly represents the irony of the truth that human desire forces him to do anything to fulfill his goals .. but i think that this is completely pessimistic approach .. yes i agree that we shudn't b greedy .. but we shud not be lazy either .. so we need to keep the spirit to achieve something in life alive .. but upto some extent only .. if that wud not have been the case .. no great men newton and einstien waould have born .. only those like budha would hav existed in this very world..
