| Wonderful article. Sujatha Muduganti really captured the essence of contributions of telugu writers for social change. Muppala Ranganyakamma's writing on feminism impacted me in my youth in 60s. When I arrived in US in 1969, the feminist movement just started here. Dalit writers surefaced after I left India. I am very impressed with Kancha Ilaliah writings and also telangana poets like Dasapathi, Gore Venkanna, Andhesree etc. Sujatha is right our writers did more service to telugu society than 11 Five-year plans to uplift the rural India socially and economically.
