Stop calling people anti-Hindu just because I asked to use our mother tounge telugu in Telugu temples. Stop calling people racist or prejudice just becaus we wanted to increase the usage of accha telugu in media and education. We telugus always worshipped Siva and Kali. Go to any village and see what people pray when they are sick or pray for rains. Asking to use our own mother tounge is not against any other language. Asking to use Telugu in Telugu temples is more Hindu than use of sanskrit. Aleast masses can understand the meaning of those sermons.

You amused me just like Hygreeva Murthy comment - you have to know Sanskrit to talk to Devathas in heaven (Interlo samskrutham). Now you say 'Swastika' seals are found in Indus valley. Please click the following links to see Harappa symbols and seals.

This debate is not new. Hundred years ago Gidugu Ramamoorthy fought the same battle. Who opposed him? The same conservative orthodox Aryan/Brahmin/Sanskrit zealots. Nothing has changed. This time there are more educated Telugu people and they will fight back like hell. This time Telugu people win!!
Posted by: Mr. M kakulavaram At: 31, Jul 2007 9:29:07 PM IST Why you people are so afraid of questioning the Aryans and the sanskrit?
____________________________________________________
Who is afraid of questions here? It is you who runs away from questions and arguments. It is you who is afraid of the questions related your own fictional theory called Aryan Invasion. If you think you have any logic behind your arguments then stay on and prove your opponents wrong with logic, instead of running away. Repeating a lie 100 times does not make it a fact, but exposes the liar more!
For instance, Dr. Rohini Prasad Kodavatiganti subscribes to some of the views, which some people feel are debatable - but then he presents strong facts, valid logic and solid reasoning behind his arguments which makes others do a lot of research to agree or disagree with him. If you want to question something then present the facts and data - not just Newspaper statements of Kancha Ilaiah.
And before you waste our time again, typing about syntactic similarity of Sanskrit and European Langauges to link it meaninglessly with Aryan Cult, similarity of two language does not prove the origin of either of the two languages.
Before you talk about these stories and say Aryan Culture and European culture are the same because the stories are similar, you also want to consider Maha Bharat and Palnati Veera Charitra - The stories are similar and going by your own logic the Aryan and the Telugu Cultures are the same - mind you many of the characters in Palnati Veera Charitra are from Telangana, basically to the North of Macharla.
Posted by: Malakpet Rowdy At: 31, Jul 2007 11:35:25 AM IST When Indus Valley seals depict swasthikas....i dont know whts stopping u from accepting them as Aryans....The truth about ur arguement is that a bunch of racist bigots who were hell bent to justify the white man's burden mislead people like you by cooking a fiction called Aryan invasion...you said 'Aryans claim they were white race which is also found in west'....this is what u exactly said...Now tell me which Vedic Sanskrit text talked abt Aryan claim of racial purity....You r wrong kakulavaram...ur ideas, faith, convictions are all ill-conceived...You are entitled to have ur own opinions but not wrong opinions...
Posted by: gopi kumar At: 31, Jul 2007 3:26:35 AM IST Well Kakulavaram, in that barrage of comments u made just now....there is not a single word answering my questions....hence, i take that as an implication of ur subscription to the native aryan theory....U failed to substantiate ur arguements ...did u notice that?....like i told u before, i am never against promotion of my,your and our mother tongue Telugu....but definetly, i will continue questioning u when ever i see u straying from the main purport and intent of any article on TP to suit ur whims....why are u afraid of accepting the Truth abt Hinduism/Indianness and the fallacies of ur faith and convictions...
Posted by: gopi kumar At: 31, Jul 2007 2:14:30 AM IST Gopi Kumar,
Did I stop you giving your opinion? Why do you want to restrict others? Let Telugu people decide what is true about their language, race, culture, and Gods. Why you people are so afraid of questioning the Aryans and the sanskrit? I am talking to 100 Million Telugu people and saying Telugu langauge is not derived from Sanskrit. You have a problem with that? You can tell 1000s cockamemi stories that Aryans are native to India. Stop shouting at people who wanted to promote Telugu language and telugu culture independant of sanskrit and Aryan culture. The truth is you are prejudice against telugu.
Posted by: Mr. M kakulavaram At: 31, Jul 2007 1:49:45 AM IST You cannot help with your prejudices, since u r personal beliefs are non-indian(whether dravidian or aryan)....but atleast u can refrain from misinterpreting the author's intention...
