One imp point here.
This article talks about agra varNaalu . In this article, agra varNaalu means Kammas and Reddys - not Brahmins and Vysyas as per the traditional caste system. There are no conflicts between the Dalits and the real agra varNaalu who are Brahmins and Vysyas. In fact, they both are uniting - in UP, Dalits and Brahmins are now united. Dalits are actually fighting against Kammas and Reddies (who are Sudras, not actually agra varNaalu ).
I think Andhra Bhoomi editor MVR Sastry or somebody wrote a detailed article on this subject. Half-knowledge Dalit writers such as Kancha Ilaiah are writing against Brahmins, just because they were mis-lead by the word agra varNaalu .
I think the writers should use a better word, instead of using agra varNaalu when talking about raids on Dalits. Whenever there is a raid on Dalits, it is most probably by another Sudra community - not by agra varNaalu .

This is definitely a victory for Dalits. This is just a beginning. They need to grow a lot further.
