| Ramesh Babu garu: You are taking the same brainless line that India has taken for 60 years and consequently lost 60 years of opportunity to uplift the people of India from poverty. Non-alignment of Nehru was bunch of non-sense. The communists made India foreign policy lean to Russia and now the CPM guys are sucking China.
US may appear to be scary due to its might and at times pushing others to view things their way. But, see the history. US never interfered with the sovereignity of any of its allies. Japan, Canada, Briton, Germany, South Korea,Israel are all allies and are all flourishing in the short time after complete devastation!
India has false pride. Indians are never seriously respected as a nation world over. Look at Mr. Tharoor, a capable diplomat. He couldn't get the UN chief seat because India doesn't have the respect and strenght where it matters.
India has nothing to lose but chains by being an ally of US. Bedding with Iran , Soudi arabia, and all the Muslim countries has not gained much to India. All these guys always, put their diffrences behind and support Pakistan when chips fall in place.
Hope Indians wake up and kick communist's asses and become an ally of USA. There is nothing to fear being friends in a serious way with USA- a benevolent and kind nation of free people.
