| The writer Mr. Ramaiah seems to be living in isolation in 19th century atmosphere. He dosn't seem to know or understand the basics of a modern society. If Indian Ambassador in the US gives clarification on a problem between the US and India, he thinks that the Ambassador is disregarding the Parliament and GOI and is deciding the country's policies from there. He also thinks India's policies are decided by international markets. He still believes that the so called socialistic pattern of society which was given up long ago because of its hindrance for sound policies for development. Even China invites American capital and investments and freely exports its goods manufactured chaply to the US. What the writer forgets is that manufacturing such goods, the workers get wages. Otherwise, they are unemployed. Globalisation helps all the countries economically. If anything, developed countries like the US might suffer somewhat as is now happening to the US.
