| In the modernworld we have become so much obssed with the concept of proving . We started believing anything if there is a proof.
If we donot have proof for something , it does not mean that the thing is not there in the world ,ofcurse vice vesa too. It is like ,Till Dalton proved that the smallest particle is not the Molecule ,but it is atom, humanrace used to think about the molecule is the tiniest. Till JJ rutherford and Neil proved the existence of electrons, protons & neutrons , people used to think about the atom only.
so let us wait for the proof , if someboday can do

Surprisingly, this article is really good.
I like this statement in this article:
'There is no proof to say that God exists. At the same time, there is no proof to say that God does not exist.'
America (the most scientifically and technologically advanced country) believes God officially. Tthey don't say which God, but they just say God. They write on their currency - We Trust in God! In this same country, people do all sorts of things including same sex marriages etc - officially :-)
Then, it's really foolish for Karunanidhi to say there is no god. Because, he cannot prove it. I think somebody said - if you dot believe in God, and become athiest, you actually belong to another religion called 'athiesm' and you are still as foolish (or as intelligent) as other religious people.

Now you got the correct interpretation of the situation. The agony of all the people commented earlier is exactly because of the attack we are able to see only on Hinduism while leaving rest of the religions scott free.
Now my forecast to all those politicians is, if they sqeeze the majority for the sake of minority they would get death blow without any recovery.
