Does world benefited with digging Suez and Panama canals? The answer is YES. The Sethusamudram will help India moving goods from East coast to West coast. Right now we are mainly depended on ground transporation. What if there is terrorism and destroyed couple key bridges? If you look at the map, you see the land connections from India all the way to Australia. That is how the aborigines, the native Australians reached Australia thousands of years ago. Subsequently the rise of sea level submerged many of these paths including the Sethusamudram. It is foolish to add Rama's name and fight on religious grounds. Sethusamudram is good for Indian economy and progresive Indians rise and put a stop to this nonsense. India has the technical expertises in dredging this canal and keep it open.

There are multiple ways Indian economy can be boosted, but not with cost of people belief. If they are serious about improving common people's life, they should fight on social issues like corruption, health care, governance..etc.

Rama was an Aryan king and he was elevated to GOD much later by Vaishanvites. Sethusamudram project is important for the Indian economy. Imagine without Suez and Panama canals to the World trade? Now they are expanding Panama canal to brining bigger ships. What's exactly your opinion? I am unable to understand it. You have stated that Karunanidhi's Govt is wishing to complete Ramsethu project without devastating it. Don't you know that it is a false statement? Environmentalists have proposed 6 alternate ways instead of demoloshing Ramsethu as demoloshing of Ramsethu would trigger natural calamities and my dear Prasad, Karunanindhi is reluctant even to hear their proposals. Being an article writer one should be aware of what is happening around us. You have stated that Aryan Gods are different than that of Dravidian Gods! From where you have borrowed this theory? For your kind information Aryans and Dravidian concepts have been proposed without a single evidence and that to it is proposed by a man who was paid by Christian Missionaries which are very keen to ignore anything which is not Christian and to Christianise everything. How did you got evidences to support this racist theory as hundreds of archealogists have not found any evidence to prove this? Valmiki never stated that Rama is a God. But that are his qualities and character which elevated him as a God. Arudra's work is not a litmus test to prove that Rama had 12 wives or 1600 as you have stated that Valmiki's Ramayana is a fictional work then how come Arudra's work on Ramayana became a work which explored the actual truth. Last but not the least regarding Hindu beliefs, we believe in Puranas and we lead our lives as stated by those great seers. We do not believe in Devastation, Terrorism, Bloodshed, Ignorance of others beliefs as these concepts were never taught neither by Puranas nor by Hindu temples alike Madarsas. We donot belive in Hinduising whole world and thats why India had never Invaded any country and never raised Hindu missionaries to convert Everyone to Hindu either by bloodshed or by harrasement alike christian missionaries. India had definitely invaded other countries culturally but not with bloodshed. Ramayana of other countries is one among its consequences. Better to upadate your knowledge in this aspect.
