| Dr. Vivekan, Its a pretty good article. But why dont U write some thing else which makes a difference at the situation. Its happening every damn year. Its a main topic in media for few months of the year and than gone ! Again, U got to wait for 1 more year to get ready to write some thing like this.
What I want to say is, Take this an action and go into the case. Ask readers how to fix this problem and get some points out of them and suggest them to the Ministry of Educationt. I am not sure if it works really well, but I am pretty confident that it makes a difference in the Ministry and industry.
Well I do have a solution for this. Education government should issue a GO to all the affiliated and non-affiliated educational centres to follow the GO. The GO suppose to be like, every student have to sign a contract and contract should be with lots of school restrictions and ragging stuff, and let them know how serious it is, and make sure they knows that RAGING WILL EFFECT ON THEIR ACADEMIC RESULS. I am pretty confident to say that, anybody who wants to do ragging, will defenately knows the importance of academic year rather than ragging somebody. And I am sure they will know the results of such cases and slowly situation comes in hand.
For example, in USA, students want to do ragging and they do it too. But I guess its in a different way. And Seniors know that their academic year is more important than ragging somebody. It costs them a LOT if they cought in the college with wrong and un acceptable behavious.
Last but not least, I am pretty confident that Indian goverment will never do some thing like this. Becoz their vote bank linked with students too !
It never changes unless, government change their attitude towards people of county.
