'Redunalkala Kamalam' is topical. The problem is re-reorganization of the reorganized Andhra Pradesh. The historical background reveals that reorganization of a state cannot simply be based on the policy of a particular party/parties. It is more than a party problem. Its a problem of the people at grass roots level, not the leaders at state and national levels. It is not inappropriate if different leaders speak different things. Differences among various sections of people and leaders, an impartial states reorganization commision was set up to decide states reorganization in 50's. Even now such an impartial commission should analyse different claims and reach an obective conclusion to promote and sustain the interests of various sections and regions of the state. The leaders come and go but the state goes on for ever. The argument of big vs small state is political in nature. Indian Union is more unitary than federal. At one time, political thinking was in favour of bigger states in order to influence the center which doles out funds to the states. The biggest UP used to enjoy power at the center because that state could elect more number of MPs than smaller states. It should be unique.
So, it is not relevant to criticise that different leaders of either Congress or BJP speak differently. It is natural if they speak differently and unnatural for BJP to claim that all of them want only separate Telengana.
