Articles: My Thoughts | Ragging Virginity | |
| Hello prashanthi garu,i liked your article very much and let me enclose my opinion.
Even in the present society, such acts takes place regularly. The majority of crimes committed will always be EDUCATED people. They have got education, they possess good degrees but they lack "SAMSKAARAM" which can't be given by education. It is given by the PARENTS,GOOD TEACHER,GOOD FRIEND AND ABOVE ALL GOOD SOCIETY.

But Andhra is not isolated. We have company.....all over!!! In some societies, such crimes are a common place. We get to hear of them everywhere, every day, in all combinations of relationships and almost daily. It is thoroughly disgusting. The reason for the happenings could probably be the absence of familial bonding(more often than not) and a lack of a spiritual/cultural back bone thereby creating a void. If a mother who is often the Ideal for her daughter dresses in vulgar clothing, has changed a dozen husbands and has divorced the latest one, just to "enjoy her LIBERTY", and is seen at home with "a-boy-friend-a-day", the plight of the girl can be understood in no uncertain manner. It is mental torture on one hand and a signal of approval on the other. Most troubling. I have yet to achieve the mental clarity to be able to comment on this. Shall keep studying and keep you posted of my findings.

I strongly admire your feelings on the heinous acts committed in the society. But, what is required to wipe them out is to educate people and bring a moral change in their attitude. I bet the society is changing, as fewer and fewer incidents are showing up now-a-days.
