My first Q? is 1. Have u ever met a prostitute. 2. In ur life time have u ever tried to help one to come out that profession? If u say 'No' to both these Q's U r the same one in thousands who talk a lot ,who have something in them to help, and spend some time in thinking of them, and even debating with others, But ultimately did nothing. If u say 'YES' to 1 st one ur trying some thing truly. If u say 'YES' to both i salute u and i feel proud of u. and I promise u i will be with U and hope that we can gather some more

Prostitution is a curse to human society. At some places male prostitutes are operating covertly. To appease their sex impulses, some women visit male prostitutes. The desire to satiate sex is inherent in both - males and females. If sex is legalised, I agree with Prasanthi, there will be no Police vigilance; but as a Veteran Police Officer,I feel, checking of prostitue dens, whether legalised or not, must continue; otherwise the control over criminals who take shelter in these places, will be lost.In some countries prostitution is legalised. It is really good. I respect prostitutes as they are sincere and claim something only to drag their life. But I dont know what to call a wife, who always demands fame and name, luxuries and extravaganjas, health and wealth, is there any end -- no -- ,, finally ending the so called pious relationship of marriage in dissatisfaction and faultfinding -- That is why foreign culture doesnt care marriage system -- I prefer free society -- not manipulating the gender by another gender --

My sincere thanks to all of you who expressed your valuable opinions on reading my article. This is an issue on which we should give a serious thought. I don't know what could be good for the Prostitutes, Legalising or Banning!! So I requested readers to share their opinion on it. Yesterday there was an article that "Prostitutes of Bangladesh won in a court case which gave them rights to be buried in Islam tradition". Earlier the hands of the dead prostitutes were tied and those deceased bodies were thrown into Padma river. Now there is a special burial ground for them and Moulvis must go and perform the religious rites, if any prostitute dies.

Hi Ms Lakshmi, I appreciate your concern for the prostitutes. But u did not give your opinion on legalising prostitution.I think legalising it will do a world of good to our society in the long run.It may seem unethical to start with but as people get used to this system it will give good results. But our leaders need the courage to reform as all reforms seem to backfire in the beggining. I fully endorse the opinions oflakshmi prasanthi. I do not find any reason why this profession can not be legalised if it can not be eradicated. This step savesthe deprived from the harassment.
