Articles: My Experience | Japan and India :: My observation | |
| Sir, with due respect...I accept whatever you said about our Indian community about looting Govt. property, lack of neatness and hygene etc., I can't accept that the Corruption in Japanese Politicians is anywhere less than in Indian Politics..(I am not a politician...I live in US). since we find that Japanese Politicians leave their positions every year due to Corruption...Our Politicians are thick skinned...they don't leave their positions even though are anounced to be Corrupt....what a pity...I can't change it..because...I resigned a government job and left the country...because I couldn't become corrupt...
Posted by: Mr. Subramanyam Achanta At: 4, Feb 2004 9:17:04 AM IST I travelled almost everywhere in the world. Almost every country, outside of the Indian subcontinent, appears to be a better place. Disregard for the law, corruption, apathy, disrespect for the other person's rights, lack of cleanliness, defecating in public places, (I can keep on listing).... are so very rampant in India. Until we pay attention to these, it is hard to visualize India as a superpower - a status we all aspire. Yes, Japan is a beautiful country because the Japanese people are proud of their country!
Posted by: Dr. Venkateswara Rao Vemuri At: 10, Jan 2004 0:32:21 AM IST Yes sir, even I do stayed 8 months in Kobe ( 2000 )and the university where I did my research located a small hillock, from there suma beach can be seen as if it is equal to the university. Kobe is near to the Osaka. I worked on cherry flowers, it is really beautiful when you see the full blooming season of cherries. Ofcourse in Japan too scandals are there but very rare, but ofcourse what you said thats true. How can we educate indian peoples to take care of Govt property or to create awareness about the same. So called govt itself looting all like a day time robbers!!!!!!!!!!!;
Hence????????????????????
