Paneer Butter Masala

PANEER Ingredients: Milk:1 litre Lemon:one Boil the milk,when it is boiling,simmer the stove and add lemon juice slowly, milk will curdle, then remove from the stove and filter it through a muslin cloth, hang it for few minutes and then keep some weight on it, after half an hour fresh paneer will be ready, cut it into small pieces. Other wise you can use ready made paneer, but home made is soft, fresh and tastier. PANEER BUTTER MASALA: Ingredients: Paneer cubes Onion:2 medium size Tamoto:2 ginger:A small piece garlic:5,6flakes garam masala:1/2tea spoon casuenuts:12nos coriender leaves[chopped] butter:6tb spoons Capsicum[optional] Method 1)Make a paste of onions, tomatoes, ginger, garlic and green chillies. 2)Saute this paste in white butter on a low fire. 3)As the paste leaves the side of the pan add cashewnut paste to it. 4)Add 1 cup water, salt, turmeric and let it simmer for 2 mins. 5)Add cubed Paneer [and shallow fried capsicum] to the above paste. 6)Cover and simmer on a low fire for 2 mins. 7)Garnish with chopped coriander leaves, garam masala and a few drops of lime. 8)Serve hot with chappatis.
