The surprise statement made by Bush Administration regarding preemptive strikes, to deescalate the situation between two nuclear powers in South Asia is not a proactive move, but just a provocative one. “America will follow different policies in different situations in different geographic conditions”. These statements are nothing but hurting sentiments. If you are fighting with evil, you should not determine the region’s geographic conditions. In the cold war era, the foreign policies followed by successive Mr. Presidents of America, is nothing but a road laid with arsenals, which caused September 9/11 attacks.
As I am a mathematics background I study law of association and as nature lover I know the Murphy’s Law. But I couldn’t understand American’s foreign policies. A friend’s friend is friend, and enemy’s enemy is a enemy to me. That’s natural.
But how can friend’s friend is enemy to me and enemy friend is friend? Take North Korea for a moment. This is the country, which was blacklisted by USA and recently came into news with the making of plutonium enrichment program, which gives them the capability of making nuclear bomb. The technology is provided by no other than the south Asian country which is a strong ally in fighting terrorism (they themselves told, but all the terrorists are born and brought up in their country) and bought the nuclear capability from one of the enemy nations of USA, and on the other hand getting billion dollars of aid from USA. Whether you give a stone directly or indirectly to mad monkey, one day when the mad monkey is in utter grief or in highest point happiness, they will throw that stone on you. You hope if it is a stone then nothing will happen except a little bleeding and a small wound, but you are giving something, which can cause mass destruction and question of survival of human beings.
Recently, I came across several statements in media stating that, Mr. President is going for personnel vendetta, rather than people’s interest. If you don’t follow the majority people’s wishes, then there is no difference between dictator and democratically elected president. There is lot of warning from economists and intellectuals that the slow down of world economy may largely affect the future of USA. Instead of giving importance to the internal security and economy matters and facilitate people with a belief of security, this provocations won’t give, but a handful of blast in inside and outside the USA.
Osama bin Laden and Taliban governments are created by one’s own interests in cold war era. So, they are not newly born kids but the snakes, which are pampered to attack enemy. Time is always not same, and snakes always won’t forget their behaviors. Now these snakes are biting their own master.
FBI and CIA are best world intelligence organizations. So, what happens if a war comes? Most of the military will concentrate on attacks on their enemies and that’s the time for terrorist to gather and become strong and ready for another mass destruction like September 9/11. I heard that pentagon is one of the most secure zones in USA. If one can attack that installation, I think there is no secure place in this world other than graveyard. I always salute the peace keeping force in all parts of the world. So military should improve intelligence gathering and should provide developing nation’s support in fighting terrorism.
The great warrior and world winner Alexander at least won several battles and a place for graveyard and two hands leaving the memory of not achieving anything except death. But in this modern era of war which can only fought with Biological, chemical and Nuclear weapons we won’t even find a place for our soul to rest and we don’t have our hands to show the world that we lost are won the war. Hope the end of evil will come soon with global peace.
