Where is this life leading to?

“What is this life, if full of care? No time to stand and stare…..” Iam often reminded of this great poem in my daily life. Present world keeps us so busy with our own work and time plays against us especially when there is lot to do. We do not have time for anything but we do so many things. We have become so busy that we don’t have time to share our feelings with kith and kin. Though we live under the same roof, we lack time to chat. But we have enough time to chat on a computer. We don’t have time to do our household chores perfectly but we do more than expected in the office. What is happening to us? What is the reason for all this? We don’t even have time to pray and convey a word of ‘thanks’ to the Lord for letting us live so happily and comfortably. We are happy but we are not. We are sad but we do not know why. We laugh but there is no happiness in that laughter. We cry but there is no meaning or valid reason behind that. We do not have enough time to play with our little child but we have time to attend the get togethers and birth day parties and have fun with other kids. But we do love God, our friends and family for sure. We are aiming more towards our material goals and are neglecting our ultimate spiritual goal as to why we took this human birth and the significance behind it. But there is not enough time for us. 24 hours are not sufficient for us to do our normal chores. What might be the reason for this? I read in some of the valuable and worthy websites that time constriction is taking place on the earth plane. There are actually 16 hours of time instead of 24 hours. But the clock shows we have 24 hours formally but in practice there are 16 hours in our hand. I even heard that, in future we will have only 8 hours of time in practice. Years back, we slept for very long periods of time and being precise we felt the long hours of sleep. But now a days, we lie down on the bed and sleep and lo when we wake up it is already time for us to wake up. First I didn’t believe this concept of ‘time constriction.’ But getting into practicality, I had to believe this is true. In the later years, we will sleep, close our eyes and immediately will have to wake up because of the rising day. I even heard this time constriction is for our own good. The number of years we took to learn something or do something will now be done in no time by the future generation because of this time constriction. I know, many of you might be thinking this is all foolishness and ignorance. Might be for you, but not for the believers and the enthusiastic people. Let us be open minded and optimistic for, anything is possible in this Kali Yuga inorder for the peace and love to rule over the world once again. Iam sure this earth plane is going to accept and face tremendous, unexpected, wonderful, miraculous changes to bring back its originality and glory. “We are so short of time that there is always not enough time for Love, Care and Expression.” - - - - Sharmila Sanka.
