Are you imagining this is taking place in one of the cities in India? No. It is in silicon Valley, the huge population of Telugu people in silicon valley gathered on 17 th Morning. A pre-election rally & pooja held at local temple for the victory of TDP &BJP in Silicon Valley- almost 100 plus Young men, women and children gathered in a show of support for the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). The showing solidarity for their Friends and family in Andhra Pradesh came in the form Of a Bicycle rally- a popular method during elections In India. Hanuman Kanaparthi, wore a special yellow dress for The occasion and said,” I have taken part in many Cycle rallies for TDP in Machilipatnam, A.P., so when I heard about this (one), I immediately rushed to show Support, especially as the contesting M.P Brahmanaiah Is a friend of my family “? And peoples leader. Ms. Srivalli spoke strongly about the need to Support the TDP- who have given large number of Seats to Women candidates. Ms Srivalli also brought along With her two-year old kid Nitin Ganesh and even took part in Riding a bicycle at the rally. While Ms. Tushara Raghurama Reddy, a Software Engineer, commented on the modern outlook of Andhra Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu and the good progress in the IT industry in Andhra Pradesh. Earlier, at an indoor gathering, Bhakta Balla of Sunnyvale addressed the crowd, and revealed his plans of actually going to India to help in elections in Anantapur district. He has also noted even though there is severe drought in the last four years in the state Chandra Babu took care so well in the state by bringing sufficient amount of rice from the center and distributed to the needy ones. The above shows the importance of winning the elections in both national as well as state. At the gathering a one minute of silence was observed for popular actress 32-year-old Soundarya, who died recently in a plane crash while campaigning as a TDP/BJP activist. Event coordinator Satish Ambati reiterated the TDP Manifesto urging all who gathered to cast the vote Along with family and friends for TDP & BJP. He also said “Congress is unnecessarily trying to split the state to satisfy their own selfish motives which will cause more hardship and expense,” adding,” For a United Andhra - Vote for TDP and for a Strong India- Vote for BJP.” In addition to that he added at the central level there is clear difference in the leadership between the two leading contestants Experience, Mature, Swadeshi, successful, stable and proven leadership versus Incompitent Videshi leader. And also in the state There is no leader to match with Chandra Babu Naidu who works for the social justice and woman empowerment and working so hard to make swarna Andhra by 2020. Event coordinator Satish Chilukuri said NRI’s are doing lot of charity work in India at the same time we need to see the right people who really work for the people in all the times should win in elections He also pointed out each and every volunteer of TDP & BJP, network with 10 families at least spread the word to support and vote for TDP & BJP. And BJP-activist Venkat Maddipati were pleased with the overall turnout. Maddipati who along with a dozen activists had offered paryers at the Sunnyvale Hindu Temple for the victory of TDP and BJP in coming elections. Ramesh Mandalapu he is a supporter of TDP since from its inception He reveals his personal opinion, party stands for Telugu pride, self respect and anti corruption. Raghu Babu an engineer with lot of exposure to power industry in INDIA wondered how the free power supply could be promised by a party when the same party where ever they are ruling in the whole country, has not given that, at any time. Instead of free power farmers should get sufficient power with lowest reasonable cost and appropriate prices for their agricultural produce.
