My Vote and Oath to Vote
- Dr. Yugandha Srinivas Adusumilli
  Page: 1 of 1
YES, like many of the middle class and upper middle class Indians I have not voted yet, (I don't even have electoral card). But what happened? In the recent elections around 50 % of people voted and they seemed to be carried away by unachievable promises, which doesn't surprise me as those 50% voted are illeterate and poor people. But now I realise that if the people who has benfitted from the government doesn't vote for it then its going to fall down. All the middle class and uppermiddle class in India were the most that has benefited from the government's reforms but hardly few turned up to cast their votes, only just because they can't waste their holiday in queue. So we have the expected results. Come on educated people, please do cast your vote. Regarding me I am going to cast my vote in next elections wherever I may be living, london or somewhere else, I am going to India to vote.
