Arre Bhai aapka Hyderabad to Singapore ban raha hai humne soona -- this is what i heard from lot of people whenever i toured outside Hyderabad. I am proud to be a Hyderabadi and I feel on top of the world when people speak good about our city. Hyderabad has now transformed into a knowledge city and most liveable city.
The credit goes to the citizens of this beautiful city who have made it a point not to litter on the roads. The Municipal Corporation of Hyderabad is doing its best to keep our city clean with the little resources they have as lot of people evade paying Municipal Taxes. MCH has put in a lot of human resources to clean Hyderabad.
Night Sweeping is done with so much of risks to those sweepers who fall sometimes prey to the drunken drivers. But unfortunately there are still some people who litter the roads and they do need to be educated. We do not litter our houses - We love our house so should we love our city - a city of Love, a city of Sherwani - a city of biryani - and a city of pareshanis as sometimes when we find dirt on the roads because of those people who have no moral or ethical values.
It is definitely an embarrassment for all of us and I am sure when we have guests from abroad who observe litter on the roads and some awfull guys urinate on the roads. Believe me Koreans love their country very much . Can you imagine Koreans while walking on the streets if they find any piece of paper they just pick up and throw it in the dust bin. They say we love our country and thats why we do it. This is the spirit we all Hyderabadi's should have.
MCH should also work on this by providing ample of dust bins on the streets. Our children often eat chips and other things and we often notice that they tend to throw the empty packets on the roads. My children too were doing it. I had to explain them that they should not litter the roads. Now i have a small dust bin in my car where my children throw it. Why my children even i was doing so - but later i realised when i saw those sweepers sweeping the city late in the nights.This is where we need to educate the young ones from now onwards.
Urination on the roads is another thing which not only causes embarrassment to us and our ladies but also it eminates foul smell making us difficult to walk on the roads. We need to educate people not to urinate on the roads. We should try and tell such people not to do that once we find. We need just a minute or two to tell them. Thats it. I am sure it will be on their minds when they want to urinate sometime later on the roads. Once i left my dog on a person urinating near my compound wall. He ran helter skelter and am sure he never must have thought to urinate again on the roads. I am just trying to impress upon that we all love our city and i am sure we want that our city to be more clean and neat.
We can contribute this way and have a much better city for ourselves and for our children. Let us all join hands together and help the Municipal Corporation in making our city very clean and green. Let us not be embarrassed by our guests. People from Mumbai and Bangalore are all looking forward to make Hyderabad their home because they know Hyderabad is now turning out to be a beautiful city in the entire country. Let us be all proud about our city and a little effort by all of us will definitely place Hyderabad in the hearts of millions.
