Peace is not a piece of material
That can be bought from any mall;
Peace provides human beings solace,
Which can be acquired by consonance
Between individuals, or nations involved in hassles,
Peace and tranquility are chief essentials,
For the public weal of civilized nations;
Constant disputes and quarrels breed disturbances,
Abridging individual freedom and advances;
Peace promotes healthy atmosphere in the universe
Be it in home, neighborhood or any where else;
Global peace ennobles tremendous success,
While terrorism broods contempt and violence;
That perpetrates constant agony and distress,
To the peace loving peoples, who abhor turbulence
Peace can be had through respect and love
Towards all, free from prejudice or row.
