Article - Another Black Hole puts forth New Music
Dennis Overbye of New York Times Reports that last year astronomers discovered outbursts from a giant black hole that were spreading pressure waves through the thin hot gas of the distant Perseus cluster of galaxies - the frequency of these waves was equivalent to a B flat , 57 octaves below middle C, the astronmers calculated.
Now another group has discovered another source spreading out from a galaxy known as M87 at heart of Vorgo cluster - 50 million light years from Earth - These wer observed at Chandra X-ray observative in US (named after famous Indian Physicist/ Mathematician - Chandrasekhar)
The sound waves spaced about 4 million years apart are a little more than an Octave above the Perseus black hole.
