Ingredients:
Gramflour 1cup
Riceflour 2cups
Sesameseeds 1tbsp
salt to taste
Ginger paste 1tsp
Redchillipowder 1½tsp
Turmeric pinch
Butter 2tsp
Oil for deepfrying
Ajwain(vomu) 1tsp
Method:-
Soak raw rice in water for 1 hour, drain on a towel for ½ hour and grind them to fine powder, sift to smooth flour.
Mix two flours and salt & other ingredients thoroughly.
Rub the butter evenly.
Now make a fine dough for murukku consistency.
Heat oil in a karahi and drop the batter through the murukku
machine(fix ribbon type frame inside).
Fry them to golden brown colour and drain them on a kitchen paper, do the same way with whole batter.
Store them in a plastic or steel container when they become cold.
Shell life: 2-3 weeks.
