Plantain Kofta (Kela Kofta)

Ingredients Plantains 6 Oil 1tbsp onion 1finely chopped garlic pads 3 crushed salt Ginger 1.5cm crushed chillipowder 1tsp garammasala ½tsp Green cardamoms 2 Fresh chopped coriander 1tbsp Filling:- chopped onion Pistachioes oil 1 tsp Raisins tbsp Peeled & chopped almonds Method:- Boil plantaines till they become softer in salt water. Peel & mash them. Heat oil and fry onion, garlic & ginger. Mix mashed plantain, salt, chilli powder, cardamoms, garam masala and coriander leaves. Fry for 2 minutes on continuous stirring. When it become cold, add some tsp milk to make as dough. Make balls with the help of gram flour. Fry the chopped onions in tsp hot oil and rest of the ingredients for filling. Stuff 1 tsp filling in each ball(kofta) and roll them round again neatly. Fry them to golden brown and serve with hot curry sauce. Garnish with green leaves. Curry sauce Ingredients Chopped onion oil 2tbsp Garlic 2(crushed) dhania powder 1tsp Garammasala ½tsp Ginger paste 1.5cm turmeric pinch tomatoes finely crushed Method Heat oil and add onion, garlic and ginger. Add other spices and fry them for 2 minutes. Add tomato crush and boil along with 1 cup of water. Allow to cook until the sauce turn to a thick mass. Serve warm koftas in a serving plate, pour the hot sauce over them, before serving them.
