You were sent down from heaven above
You were sent for me to care for and love
You are in this world just for me
You are here by my side from now to eternity
God sent you to me to show me the way
Your love in my heart forever will stay
You are here to help me with kindness, love, and care
With your smiles and laughter you're willing to share
You've always been there to listen to what I have to say
You're always there to kiss my tears and pain away
You free me of my burdens deep inside
You are my sense of freedom, a place to hide
You stood by me when my life was stressed
You made me feel like I've been blessed
You tell me you know I can
All I need is a helping hand
I know you're an angel, but where are your wings?
Whenever I see you, my heart just sings
Times get rough and we may not see eye to eye
But that's no reason to say goodbye
I wish to have you by my side, always
I wish to have you hold me for the rest of our days
Because I am yours and you are mine
From now until the end of time
