I have never seen you,
You are so distant from me,
I only know you by what you say,
Yet why do I feel so much for you,
I only chat with you in cyberspace,
typing lines on a keyboard,
I have never felt you,
Never even touched you,
Yet why do I await you,
Why do I grieve when you do,
More than what I do in life,
Why do I feel that nice it,
Would be to have you near me,
I have flirted with you,
Romanced with you,
We have fought, quarreled,
Yet we are just 2 entities,
In this vast cyberspace,
Well I know not the answers to all,
But what I know is that,
Even in the vast expanse of cyberspace,
There is someone out there who likes me,
Thanks to you my virtual friend,
You might be physically away from me,
But mentally you have made me feel better.
