In a small village there was a person named Ramanna who earns his daily bread by cultivating a small land owned by him. He has two sons Ranganna and Venkanna who were also helping his father in cultivating their land. They were leading the life very happily. Both Ranganna and Venkanna got married at their appropriate young age and brought their wives to home.
After some time of their marriage, small disputes started in the house which at last lead to division of the property and they got seperated. After their seperation, the days were going smooth and both families are living very co-operatively. Ramanna planted one Mangoe tree in front of the houses of his sons and told them to nurse the trees very carefully. After some time Ramanna expired due to his old age.
One day a Saint visited the village and told Ranganna and Venkanna that they are having Nidhi infront of their houses. Ranganna not cared the words of saint but Venkanna attracted to the words of the Saint and started digging in different places infront of the house in search of Nidhi. He could not find anything. Atlast he has cut the Mangoe tree and digged to check his luck but the efforts did not give him any positive result.
Some years passed. Ranganna started getting good income because of the crop of the Mangoe tree infront of his house. Venkanna felt very guilty for cutting the Mangoe tree in search of Nidhi and understood the Nidhi is nothing but the tree. He immediately planted one Mango tree infront of his house.
