Articles: My Thoughts | Indian Media - Dr. mandalaneni kesava kumar

Respected all, did you people see the news, especially the Telugu News. I am afraid where their destination is going to be?
They have become more notorious than the paparazzi of the West. The other day I saw the half-burnt body of our late Prime Minister Mr. PV Narasimha Rao, blazed across the front pages of some News Papers.
Do you think that it was necessary and also do you think that it was a dishonour meted out to him? It was just a mistake and the media makes it a point to print such horrific images.
I saw some Channel (guess it was Aajtak) in the TV few days back. The reporter was so insensitive, in a hurry to send images of the destruction of the Tsunami, that she was just strolling inside a house destroyed oblivious to the fright filled occupants of the house, who lost every thing and were staring at the camera.
She was actually asking them those mindless questions again and again. I just could not stand the mindlessness of that dumb reporter.
There are some reporters, who are image crazy and start interrogate even the Policemen instead of asking questions.
eppuDu? EmTi? Emi chEstumTaavu? nuvvu eTlaa vachchaavu. etc.
All the questions by the Reporters to the common people, I heard in the Visual Media are in singular form and they are utterly oblivious to any sane mannners and inturn they demand repsect and freedom!!
I was in awe for this lady Ms. Barkha Dutt on NDTV, but soon my admiration for her turned out to be disgust when I found that she craves to extract the emotions from people that are meant to be so private and personal and send them accross on airwaves, shameleesly.
Come on media. Be humane, humble and repect others' feelings. Do not distort the reality and interpret things on your own.
