Ingredients:
Basmati Rice - ½ Kg
Onion - 4 Nos. Medium (Chopped)
Green Peas - 1 Cup
Ginger Paste - 5 Gms.
Garlic Paste - 5 Gms.
Green Chillies - 6 Nos. (Sliced)
Tomato - 1 No. Medium (Chopped)
Mint leaves - 2 springs (Chopped)
Cardamom - 3 Nos.
Bay Leaf - 1 No.
Cinnamon - 1” Piece
Cloves - 4 Nos.
Ghee - 50 Gms.
Oil - 50 Gms.
Salt - to taste
Coconut Milk - 2 Cup
Method:
1) Clean the rice and soak in the water for 15-20 minutes & drain the water.
2) Put oil and Ghee in a thick-bottomed cooking vessel, add bay leaf, Cardamom, Cinnamon and Clove.
3) Add onion and mint leaves fry for 2 Minutes, then add Green Chillies, ginger garlic paste, fry till it gets golden colour.
4) Add tomatoes and green peas, sauté till it is slightly cooked,
7) Add coconut milk and water together, salt for the rice. Let the water for boiling, add the soaked rice.
8) When the rice is half boiled keep the vessel on the tawa and close the vessel properly. Cook on low flame for 10-15 minutes.
9) After removing the vessel from the stove keep for 5 minutes then Serve with Veg or Non-Veg Curry.
