You, my darling, Leaf
You made me realise that there is something called Life
Remember? How gracefully you came out of earth?
You appeared capable to rule this world
Dear kid, Leaf, I loved to see u being bathed
By my Mother Rain
I recollect the origin of your brothers and sisters
Your laughs with them still ring in my ears
You grew up, along with your family and friends
Nothing changed around
But you changed a lot
What happened to your smooth skin?
Did my kisses on u pain?
Where did your shining go??
Why did u forget that u can laugh??
What went wrong ,my child??
I am here for u and mother will be here soon
No need to cry dear, just wait ,just be like this
I will go and get mother rain.
When I came with my mother,
I didn't see the poor child there
It lied down, on earth
Lost all its green
Appeared lifeless
Mother and I cried
Our tears bathed the leaf
But,
We know, we are late.
Late by a life time.
