Sri Rama Prasad and Sri Ravikumar known as The Malladi Brothers received their musical training from their father Sri. Malladi Suri Babu, who himself is a disciple of Sri Voleti Venkateswarulu.
Embar S. Kannan, is highly accomplished as a violinist and is in the forefront of violinists of the younger generation. Kannan is a disciple of Smt. A . Kanyakumari.
Hailing from a family of mridangists, Arjun Kumar was playing at the young age of five by his father, Sri Arjunan, one of the very senior artists. He then came under the tutelage of the mridangam legend, Sri. Umayalpuram K. Sivaraman.
