Dates Halwa (Kharjoor Halwa)

Dates 1½ cups Thick milk 2 cups Sugar 1/2 cup Ghee 1/2 cup Condensed milk 1 cup (sweetened) Almond chopped 1 tbsp Cashewnuts 1 tbsp Walnuts 2 tbsp Cardamom Silver waraq Method:- Deseed the dates, clean them, blend into a smooth paste. Fry roast nuts to golden brown,keep aside. Add sugar,condensed milk, milk and paste of dates in a thick bottomed pan. Cook on stirring until the mixture turns to a thick lump, pour warm ghee while cooking. The ghee first absorbes by the dates mixture,after releases out. Remove from the heat,add all roasted nuts,stir well. Pour into a tray and press the silver waraq,and serve hot/cold. After 1/2 hour it sets,cut into square bits.
