Recently I read two sad stories about indians who r pursuing studies in USA.
One is Hyderabad guy shot dead when he is returning from parttime job (gas filling station) And other one is - one guy died while saving his classmate while drowning in their picnic.
Life is precious. Where ever you are if death comes to kiss u, no body can stop. But the sad thing is not about death. What happens if you die in different country.
In first case the parents tried a lot to bring his dead body to India. Ok, atleast his father is working in AP state assembly and could use some influence.
In Other case the heartbreaking thing is the guy who died, came from a very poor family. His widowed mother send him to USA with all her life long earnings. And that guy doesnt have insurance as he cant afford it. So for just bringing his body back to india it may cost $8,000 to $10,000. Who will give this money? Is this the life we are choosing? Is this the way you end in other country??
Another sad thing is the other clasmate who survived in the drowning incident is in serious condition in hosipital. Even he/she had insurance which is upto $100,000 - but his/her daily expenses in the hospital are $30,000. What a pity?
So just think about all these things guys, and dont ever think that life in other country is promsing and enjoyable.
