Words are most powerful and valuable in the world. They are capable of causing happiness as well as sorrow. Usage of language opens their minds letting others to read them. Hence one ought to take utmost care while uttering words of rage.
It is fun for some people to use words to satisfy their little self. They do not realize the value of their speech and so use it with no limits. Such thoughtless words end up in insulting many beings. Jealousy, ego, money, hatred, beauty, talent, fame and many aspects lead one person to insult another unnecessarily.
You get disheartened when you come across words of insult. Being human, it is natural, being human, you are also capable of over coming the insult in your every day life by simple means.
When you come across any insults, do not panic. Being insulted appears to be one problem, becoming panic turns out to be the second issue. So in order not to intensify the pain, be calm and positive. Being optimistic in pessimistic times is true optimism. Firstly, pick a lesson from that insult. Secondly, take it as a stepping stone to reach higher. Every time you are insulted, take it to your advantage. Every negative comment should turn into a new page in the chapter of your courageous ‘Life’. If some one insults you, do not start ignoring and hating that person. Dig with in to check if you are worthy of that. If not, then ignore it. If you are a person of ‘Conscience’, you will know if you deserve those comments. If so, give a start to rectify yourself. Every moment you should breathe that insult positively in order to get over the blame of insult. When you are aware of it, you will start improving. You will learn a lesson which helps you not to repeat it and grow further. Be thankful to that person for giving you an opportunity to look with in. To err is human; to knowingly live in the error is not helplessness but foolishness. Do not live in the insult. Move forward with it. Life will be smooth for you because you will actually be walking on the insults of failures heading towards success. A pessimist sees the difficulty in every opportunity; an optimist sees the opportunity in every difficulty. Success without failure and insult is not complete.
Often the people who insult you can be your friends from the realms of spirituality who have come to help you to learn lessons and grow thereby in life. If you have hatred in your hearts because people have hurt you, that will never be dealt with and will be taken all your life and then it will manifest as illness. Every soul, who comes into your life, comes to teach you something. Instead of developing hatred, convert that hatred into love. Thank the person for being there to help you indirectly.
The more life lessons you learn, the more higher and faster you grow on your spiritual path. The one who insults is really not your enemy but your friend who helps you learn bitter lessons. Behind every enmity, there is a hard lesson to learn. So learn the lesson from it and let go of that enmity for ever in this life and move on further. Never let hatred sit and rest on your heart even for a while. If any enmity or grudge is left over in you, beware, it follows you like a shadow.
Learn to deal with the insult and do not run away from it, for it will be escapism which obstructs your growth and the opportunity to learn life lessons which are only meant to help you grow higher and higher leading to more perfection. Every time a problem arises, you escape by blaming some one who was the cause for it. So you are turning away from the present problem. You have escaped it once but if you do not learn how to rectify the problem, you will have to learn escaping from your problems your whole life. So why not learn to insult the insult and the one behind it by facing it with courage and self-confidence? Self-confidence is your only strength which won’t let your head down with guilt before anyone. Pride then dances on your shoulders while the smile dances on your lips.
