Once there was a old women who wanted to go on piligrimage. For that reason, she wanted to save money. So she went to a Sanyasi in that village to save money with him. Sansyasi told her that he did not want to touch money and asked her to hide it wherever she wants to inside the Ashram. She went inside and hid it underground by digging. When she is hiding the money, the Sanyasi saw it from behind the door, because he wanted to steal that money. Then the old woman came out and took the blessings of the sanyasi. After she left, he went inside and took the money and hid it elsewhere so that the old women wouldn't find it. After some days, the old woman dicided to go on the piligrimage and came to the Sanyasi's Ashram to get the money back. When she went inside and searched the spot where the money was kept, she did not find it. She asked the Sanyasi about the money and he replied that he did not know about it ata all. Then she went to Birbal who is a good helper for the people in need. She explained the whole story. He drafted a plan to get her money back. He took a box of jewelery and went to the Sanyasi's Ashram along with the old woman. Birbal also ordered one of his assistants to come and play his role at the Ashram and explained the time he has to come. He told the old woman to come in to the Ashram when he does namaskaram to the Sanyasi for the second time. Then he went inside the Ashram. He did namaskaram for the first time and said 'Swami, I have to visit my brother in this village. Can you save these box of jewelery until I come?'. Then the Sanyasi thought that he does not need old woman's money any more and thought he could get away with the jewelery after Birbal leaves. Birbal did the namaskaram for the second time to the Sanyasi. Then the Old women came at that point and asked the Sanyasi for her money. He said, 'Come you old woman, you hid the money at one corner and searched fir it in the other corner. The old woman was surprised with the Sanyasi's cheating. At the time the Sanyasi is about to take the jewelery, the assistant came and told that his brother is not in this village. Citing this as an excuse, Birbal said that he does not need to leave the Jewelery with the Sanyasi and left.
