Articles: My Thoughts | Donkeys - Mr. kedarnath jonnalagadda
| |
A guru tells the shishya - Everyday you will come across 9 entities that will influence your purpose for the day
-' 3 of them will be donkeys - gaadidalu'
-'3 will be humans- manavulu' and
-'3 will be emancipated beings - punya purushulu or devudulu' . -
That you will meet them is certain - every day of your life. But the catch is that all 3 categories will have ordinary human forms.
It is for you to realize who is who or what... so go through each day making up your mind on what you observe.
So while you are riding your bike or driving - a bike, car / bus overtakes you and then cuts in front of you and parks ahead of you! Your analysis of the situation is instantaneous and correct - 'gaadida' - your blood pressure rises up and you yell -'GADIDA ... whatever' -
Now would you yell the same if it were a real Gaadida - and every time you meet a Gadida. And there are fewer Gadidalu - real ones I mean, to be seen nowadays. This is caused by rapid urbanization and heavy traffic. It is only human nature to rush on where even 'gaadidalu' fear to tread - I mean the roads.
Whose fault was it anyway! It was faulty analysis. You ought to be more angry with yourself for jumping to conclusion it was a Man and not a 'gadida in human form'.
So you go on through life - and how very exciting that is!
Another one - your brother - brother-in-law, whoever is an IPS officer. You are going to a temple - if anybody gives you trouble, or steals money from you - one phone call and you have the police force to assist you. Now you go to a pub - pick up a fight after a useless argument - you get beaten up and not only that your money is stolen too! The first thing your brother - friend will ask is 'Why the **** did you go there?' So you can suffer despite having 'influential' relatives.
So you go through life - however unexciting!
