Everybody knows the preparation of dahivadas.
These are little change and softer than normal way, try it as special recipe for festival.
It needs...
Potatoes 1/4 kg
yoghurt/curd 3cups
Green chilies 4
ginger 1½inch
peas 300gms
Black gram split 100gms(husked)
Chopped fresh coriander leaves
Asafoetida
salt as per taste
Method:
Soak the black gram over night.
Grind it into a thick batter on the next morning.
Boil and mash the potatoes.
Boil and crush the peas
Grind ginger& chillies to a fine paste.
Mix potatoes, coriander leaves, peas, asafoetida and ginger paste.
Make about round balls.
Dip each ball in urd dal paste and deep fry .
Churn the curds adding sufficient water and salt. Soak fried balls in curds for an hour.
Garnish with chilli powder,cuminpowder and chopped coriander leaves,serve immediately!
