Having lived for over 5 years in USA, I have come across many kinds of Indians here. Some who mingle right away and are genuinely friendly people making lasting friendships.
Some who approach us and show they are very friendly but have hidden intentions of marketing their business and frustrate with tons of phone calls.
Some who even after coming here are dying to find out if you belong to their CASTE or not and if you are not their caste then show no interest in you.
Some who bore you to death bragging about how rich they are in INDIA ....blah blah.
Slowly I have developed the tact to understand people and then proceed to make friends with them.
Friends I would like to read your experiences of how you made good friends and how you enjoy your weekends? It will be fun to read.
