Hyderabad: Former actress Monica Bedi, deported along with Abu Salem from Portugal, is likely to be produced in a court here Saturday in a case relating to fake passports issued in Andhra Pradesh.
Bedi and Salem, one of India's most wanted criminals alleged to have financed and masterminded the 1993 Mumbai serial terror blasts that killed 257, are scheduled to be produced in a Mumbai court Friday after their extradition from Portugal.
Only Bedi is likely to be brought here as she was found travelling with the fake passport in Lisbon. She was extradited in two cases, including the one relating to a fake passport issued by the Regional Passport Office (RPO) in Hyderabad.
Bedi has acted in several Hindi and Telugu films.
Bedi, Salem and his second wife Sabeena Azmi had secured passports under fictitious names and fake addresses in Kurnool in Andhra Pradesh in August 2001.
